If you have followed me on my socials for a while now you might have noticed I am always on the hunt for the perfect skincare routine. It’s especially important that I find one which will work for my sensitive skin, which is a combination of both oily and dry, and because of that I am very particular about what I will use.

I’m always honest about my skin care journey. I’m an open book about my failures and semi-wins when it comes to finding the perfect skincare routine I can use year round. It’s important to notice how one’s skin reacts to different skin care products as the weather changes. I wanted to find a skincare regimen that I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on or have to switch up simply because the seasons changed.

That’s when I remembered about a skincare product that I used when I was younger which worked incredibly well for my skin, it was Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser! Not only did it make my skin feel beautiphil, but it also helped clean my oily teenage skin.

Now back to TODAY: my present day self, still with sensitive, oily & dry skin. I’ve been thinking back to what helped my skin in the past and giving myself hope that it will work again. I browsed the face care aisle of my local Target where I found both Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser and Cetaphil® Gentle Makeup Remover. I was especially happy to find the latter because I had also been looking for a makeup remover that would work well. I hate when I try out a makeup remover and I can never quite get all of the makeup fully off my eyes and face!My Nightly Skincare Routine With Cetaphil.

It was many years beyond high school when I learned that I should never go to bed with my makeup on. I’ve found it beneficial to the feel and appearance of my skin to clean the day off of my face, especially if I have somewhere to go after work. You know, wash off that layer of “filth” from early morning meetings, walks to lunch, deadline sweats, etc.

Because of this I always start my nightly beauty routine by using Cetaphil Gentle Makeup Remover and then clean my face with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. Whether I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser in the morning or night, my skin feels protected and healthy for hours afterward!

Since starting to use Cetaphil products again, I have to say I have noticed a difference in my skin with just the first couple of washes. I love that it is recommended by more dermatologists than any other cleanser and moisturizer brand, and that it’s gentle yet effective! It leaves my skin hydrated and feeling clean without clogging or stripping my skin of its natural nutrients, which is super important to me.

If you are like me and have been on the hunt for a new skincare product to try and want to see if it works for your skin, check out Cetaphil’s new face care products – Cetaphil Gentle Makeup Remover and Cetaphil® Rich Hydrating Night Cream with Hyaluronic Acid now at Target! Final note: I am not a skincare specialist, dermatologist, doctor, etc. I am just someone who has had trouble with their skin the majority of her life. I can only recommend truthfully what has or is currently working for my skin type. I hope this blog post helps anyone that might have been where I was or is just looking to change up their skincare routine.

I am awful about a nightly routine, I sleep with my makeup on- I know, it’s appalling. Lately I’ve been working on cleaning my face at night, but old habits die hard! #client
